Tomorrow's Equine Industry Leaders
Whether you are interested in trail riding, dressage, western pleasure or barrel racing, reining or jumping, the P.E.C. Youth Program has something for you! Even if you are a horse lover without a horse, you can and should become involved!
The Youth Program is designed to empower and educate you, in addition to allowing you the opportunity to educate others. In this program, you will be able to:
- Learn about Pennsylvania's Equine Industry and the issues that affect it.
- Find out how these issues will affect you as a future industry leader and an adult member of the equine community
- Discuss these issues with other Youth horse lovers in Pennsylvania
- Get the issues that are affecting you discussed by the PEC board and have a knowledgeable group of people to help you to solve them
- Have the PEC Board make it easier, more affordable, safer and more enjoyable to own equines and participate in equestrian sports
- Volunteer for the PEC at the horse events and at other PEC activities
- Become an expert on Equine issues and a resource to your breed or discipline association
